Katie’s Water Policy Council is tasked with protecting Arizona’s groundwater. Experts within the council are pushing to address ‘wildcat subdivisions,’ a real estate loophole developers can use that puts water access in jeopardy. This same loophole led to hundreds of families being without water in Rio Verde Foothills.
