• Protect the clean energy transition and other environmental programs from MAGA extremists in the House. LCV teams will be on Capitol Hill day in and day out to stop Speaker “MAGA Mike” Johnson and other extremists from gutting programs that protect our planet and bring us closer to a sustainable future.
• Protect the Arctic Refuge from Big Oil's dirty drilling. Under Trump-era rules, there’s set to be a major Arctic drilling lease sale next year. President Biden has helped cancel some of these leases, but it sets up a big fight between the environmental movement and the dirty energy industry — we need to do everything we can to win this fight.
• Shut down the Dakota Access Oil Pipeline once and for all. For years, the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has led the fight against the dirty pipeline, which threatens clean drinking water for millions of people. Now, our movement is helping drive grassroots support for a new environmental impact analysis and public comment period that could finally halt the project.
• Elect a pro-environment, pro-democracy majority in 2024. Next year's federal elections will have an enormous impact on the future of our planet and our democracy. LCV and our movement will put it all on the line to support and elect leaders who will focus on a healthy and sustainable future for our environment and our communities.
