Before this Congressional term even began, Pat called for George Santos not to be seated.

And today Pat voted (again) to expel George Santos once and for all. While Santos might not be in Congress any longer, his stain will remain.

MAGA leadership knew Santos was a serial liar who courted neo-nazis and conspiracy theorists. They knew he lied, cheated, and stole his way into office.

Despite this, they have spent the last ten months failing to protect the American people and denying the residents of New York’s 3rd Congressional District the honest representation they deserve.

They stuck by his disgusting behavior, all for the sake of power. It’s everything that is wrong with Washington and everything that Pat is fighting against.

Elise Stefanik, the 3rd ranking GOP member of the House and a fellow New Yorker, came out against the expulsion. MAGA Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson also voted against the expulsion.

While Santos is gone, the GOP leadership revealed that they will support anyone who votes for their MAGA agenda. It’s reprehensible.

With Santos expelled, there will soon be a special election in NY-03. Take it from our team — this race will be competitive. And expensive. And will receive a lot of attention.

After winning two toss-up races in New York last year, Pat knows the stakes. We need to step up now.
