john — I have not held back when it comes to calling on Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to improve the United States Postal Service.

Today, I’m calling on DeJoy to answer for stories of delayed mail delivery in rural parts of Minnesota and terrible working conditions for mail carriers. Please join me in demanding DeJoy address these concerns right away, before a busy holiday season.

The USPS is a vital lifeline for millions of Minnesotans — delivering medicine, Social Security checks, and important documents and packages. And the mail carriers who provide this service are superheroes who deserve to be treated as such.

Recently, I heard from USPS mail carriers in Bemidji and Brainerd who are struggling to keep up with the heavy volume of mail and pressure from DeJoy to deliver Amazon packages. Carriers are working overtime and not allowed to take their sick days in some instances — which is unacceptable.

I’m calling on Louis DeJoy to answer to the difficult working conditions for mail carriers in Minnesota and across the country.

The American people deserve mail that is delivered on time, and the carriers who provide this service deserve better working conditions.

john, if you agree, please join me in holding Louis DeJoy accountable for the troubling reports of delayed service and overworked mail carriers.

Thank you for raising your voice. The USPS is a national treasure, and I’m not going to let Trump-appointed Louis DeJoy run it into the ground.
