Oklahoma,

Congress is back in session for a three-week stretch ahead of Christmas, continuing appropriations and national security supplemental negotiations. From bill introductions to protect Oklahoma's ranchers to a special visit from the University of Oklahoma's Women's Softball Team, it was a busy week. Check out a rundown of the highlights below. If this email was forwarded to you, you may subscribe to my e-newsletter here.

America's farmers and ranchers must be able to protect their livestock from nasty predators without the federal government getting in the way. This week, I introduced the Black Vulture Relief Act with Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) to provide regulatory relief to our livestock producers and ensure they can do what is necessary to protect their livelihoods. Check it out here

My best day in Washington is when I get to spend it with young Oklahomans. I had the honor of welcoming the University of Oklahoma Women's Softball team to Washington and giving them a tour of the U.S. Capitol. My family, and the entire state of Oklahoma were so moved by these female athletes’ remarkable display of faith in the Lord following their third consecutive NCAA Division I national championship in the 2023 Women’s College World Series earlier this year. It was a blessing to speak to these all-star competitors about their future goals and tell them firsthand just how much their team’s moral character and achievements have meant to our great state.

Christie and I recently visited Canoo's new OKC vehicle manufacturing facility to learn about their cutting-edge technology, design innovation, and unique business model to extend the lifecycle of vehicles. Canoo selected Oklahoma for our strong workforce and business-friendly economic climate, bringing over 500 new jobs in phase 1. Thank you to Tony Aquila for hosting us, and for all you do to support our armed services and businesses in Oklahoma.

Living in rural America should never hinder the outcome of your health and well-being. This week, I penned a "Mullin It Over" column on my recent efforts to expand reliable and affordable broadband for rural Oklahomans and Tribal members. Check it out here

Last Friday, I visited Ardmore to meet with community leaders following Michelin’s recent decision to close their Ardmore facility by the end of 2025. My team and I will remain at the table to aid economic impact and recovery and support new and existing business. Check it out here.
