Hello John,
For years now, we’ve been on the trail of big Chinese pharmaceutical companies that are using threatened species in traditional tonics and medicines.
We’ve recently discovered 72 Chinese companies selling products containing leopard, pangolin, tiger and rhino.
By analysing shareholding data, we also found 62 banks and financial institutions which had invested in Chinese pharmaceutical companies that make products containing leopard or pangolin.
They include household names such as AXA, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Legal & General, Prudential, Royal Bank of Canada, and Goldman Sachs.
Are you able to make a gift to protect wildlife and help us save threatened species? ([link removed])
This is a critical moment for the survival of leopards and pangolins. With your support, we can put pressure on financial institutions to stop investing in the big Chinese pharma groups that are profiting from the use of these species.
Any donation you are able to give us today could help us spread the message that there’s no place for threatened species in medicine.
If you’d like to do more, please share our appeal page ([link removed]) on social media to help spread awareness. (Just use the buttons below to share with your networks.)
