Through our fellowship programs, we teach the enduring principles of the American Founding to the next generation of conservative leaders and thinkers. It is our pleasure to announce that applications for Claremont's 2024 fellowships are now open! Claremont Fellows are the political and intellectual leaders of the modern Right. They are on the front lines in the battle of ideas with progressivism and the modern Left, delivering strong, persuasive arguments in defense of America. Publius Fellowship: (June 19-July 6, 2024) A two-week program for recent college graduates, graduate students, and individuals beginning their careers in scholarship, journalism, media, communications, research, business, politics, or government. Applications due by February 23, 2024. Lincoln Fellowship: (August 1-August 10, 2024) A 10-day program for public policy professionals, academics, senior journalists, authors, and media veterans who are exercising influence in key positions in national, state, and local politics. Applications due by March 1, 2024. John Marshall Fellowship: (August 10-August 18, 2024) A one-week program teaching the natural law jurisprudence of the American Founding to the next generation of legal thinkers and practitioners. Applications due by March 15, 2024. Speechwriters Fellowship: (October 11-October 14, 2024) A 4-day program that combines an education in the principles of the American Founding with a study of modern political speechcraft for speechwriters working in the federal, state, and local government as well as the private and nonprofit sectors. Applications due by April 5, 2024. Sheriffs Fellowship: (November 2-November 8, 2024) A 6-day program offering training of unparalleled depth and excellence in American political thought and institutions, from the country’s top constitutional experts and political theorists. Sheriffs Fellows discuss political philosophy, American government, and the constitutional role of the office of the American sheriff with Claremont’s distinguished scholars and senior fellows.
