Throughout our 2023 end-of-year campaign, we’re highlighting inspiring stories
from our very own NILC staff. We’ve asked folks across our organization to share
why they are a part of our mission and how the work we do at NILC makes a
difference.

As we share, we’re also getting prepared for 2024. The forces of hatred have
“proudly” stated that they will increase their attacks — on low-income
immigrants and on the very organizations such as NILC who help these vulnerable
families get a fair break. Will you help us fight back? All our staff are
relentless perhaps because they have some deep personal connections to the work
we do. We also share some core beliefs:

* We believe in a society where everyone, regardless of where we were born,
should have the freedom to thrive.
* We’re committed to tearing down the unjust barriers confronting our own
immigrant families, and those of the immigrant communities we work with every
day.
* We embrace the power of storytelling. We believe sharing our lived experience
provides critical context for others to more deeply understand our mission to
defend and advance the rights of immigrants.

So, we invite you to join us this month on our journey
through voices and stories from NILC staff — so please stay tuned between now
and December 31! As you look back on 2023, will you join us in fighting forward
into 2024 for all low-income immigrants against a well-funded extremist foe?
