** Climate Justice
------------------------------------------------------------

In this week’s Climate Justice newsletter, we harness the power of the sun, consider the oceans, and even explore creativity as a means to fuel change. First, NPQ talks to scientist Sandor Mulsow, one of the subjects of the new documentary film Deep Rising, about how deep seabed mining could lead to many more problems for life in the sea—and on land. Next, we explore a solution to help with both climate and health challenges that simultaneously uses land to grow crops and generate solar power. Then, health equity needs to be prioritized—and the power of grassroots organizing and creative problem-solving utilized—when developing solutions to pollution, water, and energy issues. Finally, on December 14th, NPQ offers a webinar on pay equity and the tools needed to help organizations rethink compensation and fully embody their values.
