Dear John,

There is no question, we are all doing our due diligence to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.  We are washing our hands, avoiding large crowds, and greeting each other with an elbow bump instead of a handshake or hug.

Although we are doing what we can to mitigate the risks of the virus spreading, an essential component of prevention is missing: national paid sick leave.

Stand with me and add your name at [link removed] to encourage Congress to pass National Paid Sick Leave.

The United States is the only developed nation without a national policy on paid sick leave. Right now, American employees who lack paid sick leave must go to work to provide for their families – despite being ill, and possibly contagious.

It’s time for that to change.  Now is the time for Congress to act on this important issue.  Please visit [link removed] to add your name today in support of passing a National Paid Sick Leave.

Thank you for joining me in taking precautions to prevent the spread of this and other contagious illnesses.  I appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Salud Carbajal
