Dear advocate,

During the last 50 years, OCA - Asian Pacific American Advocates has served as a leader in advancing the hopes and aspirations of Asian American, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Your support has made our first 50 years incredibly impactful and we thank you for your part in these accomplishments.

We have been at the table with Presidents, Cabinet

Members, Legislators, and other policy makers as we leaned into issues to protect our civil rights, our communities, and our future.

More specifically, we have:
* helped secure permanent funding for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander serving institutions of higher learning;
* continued to support the inclusion of our stories in the curriculum taught to our youth;
* pushed back against xenophobic and anti-Asian hate in our schools, workplaces, and society; and
* continued to advocate for our place as voters and Americans;
* and perhaps most importantly, continued to identify and develop our AANHPI leaders of today and tomorrow.

With your help, we can now look forward to our next 50 years.

Our Annual Giving Campaign for our 50th anniversary features a new focus on 3 areas:
* Developing the Next Generation of Leaders;
* Increasing the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Impact Nationally; and
* Strengthening our Capacity at the National and Chapter levels.

As you can tell, our work is far from over. We need your help to continue building OCA’s legacy for the next 50 years and beyond. This is a golden opportunity to make a difference. A generous individual has offered to match every dollar we raise up to $50,000. That means your donation will have twice the impact!
