John,

Since 2021, Ground Game Texas has launched ballot measure campaigns in cities across the state, winning historic victories and learning how initiatives focused on progressive, popular issues can increase voter turnout.

Now, we are one month away from launching our biggest campaign yet in the City of Dallas.

For months we’ve been busy planning a marijuana reform ballot measure aimed at the November 2024 ballot in Dallas. This single campaign could motivate tens of thousands of new voters in an absolutely critical election cycle. And just as importantly, we would keep hundreds of residents out of jail and save millions in city funds.

Help Ground Game get a strong start in the new year with a contribution today. With your donation of $25 or more, we’ll launch our biggest campaign yet in Dallas, Texas. [[link removed]]

Through outreach in the Dallas community, we’ve built a coalition of organizations to support the ballot measure campaign, including leaders in the Black and Latino communities and organizations working for police reform and immigration reform. Together we are planning to gather tens of thousands of petition signatures starting in January and set in motion a ballot proposition on the November ballot that would inspire increased voter turnout among key voting constituencies.

Ballot measure campaigns are an effective and cost-efficient way to increase voter participation. Please chip in today to support our work to inspire movements for social change in Dallas and beyond. [[link removed]]

We can’t wait to get started on this next campaign. Thanks for your support!

With gratitude,

Julie Oliver
