Last week, Mark introduced the Restoring Military Priorities Act with Tim Kaine and 30 of their Senate colleagues. This important bill would restore $3.8 billion in military funding to crucial defense projects in Virginia and across our nation -- funding that the Trump administration is trying to divert to pay for their border wall.

Will you join Mark in demanding that Congress restore critical military funding?

This was the third time in under a year that the Trump administration recklessly diverted money from Pentagon priorities to fund the ineffective wall. This is just plain irresponsible -- and it puts our men and women in uniform at risk.

Here's the breakdown: The administration is taking away $77 million from Virginia alone.

-- The Cyber Operations Facility at Joint Base Langley-Eustis will lose $10 million.
-- The Navy Ships Maintenance Facility in Portsmouth will lose just over $26 million.
-- Projects to replace hazardous materials warehouses in Norfolk and Portsmouth will lose a total of $41 million.

We should be supporting our national security interests -- not the president's pet project.

The Restoring Military Priorities Act would return $3.8 billion in funding to actual national security priorities and prevent President Trump from using any additional Department of Defense funds to build his border wall.
