April 1, 2020 is Census Day. The FCDC website has many informational posts organized under the 2020 Census tag, in English and Spanish. We also have a 2020 Census Resources post that includes official Census media in Arabic, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese in PDF, JPG, YouTube and embed code formats.

The FCDC website has a 2020 Democratic Delegate Scorecard to keep track of the allocation of delegates to the July 13-16 Democratic National Convention. To win nomination on the first ballot, a candidate must have at least 1,991 pledged delegates (of 3,979 total pledged delegates). Currently, Joe Biden is at 44.25% (881) and Bernie Sanders is at 36.36% (724) towards the 1,991 pledged delegate threshold.

As cases of Coronavirus grow, FCDC takes steps to keep members safe

With cases of the Coronavirus spreading across the country and the World Health Organization labeling it a pandemic, the Fairfax County Democratic Committee (FCDC) is looking at ways to keep members safe. FCDC Chair Bryan Graham emphasized that, "The safety of our community and members is our highest priority. FCDC Leadership is following the developments related to the Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and tracking the guidance from the County, State, and Federal levels. We are working closely with Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA) to develop plans and contingencies for continued operations as we head into this critical election year."
