We hope you are all staying healthy and safe following recent developments about the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
With many folks expressing concern about the virus, we wanted to send out a few things you can do as we continue to learn more about the outbreak:
-
Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, especially before handling food.
-
If you feel sick, practice social distancing as much as possible, including staying home from work or school and avoiding crowded public spaces and public transportation.
-
Stay Informed – It’s important to check the source of all information we hear as it makes its way across our district. We encourage you to look to credible sources like the CDC website or Colorado’s Department of Public Health & Environment for verified information about action you can take for you and your family.
As always, it’s important to seek reliable, credible information from trusted sources. We’ve seen in the past that if we take public health concerns seriously while remaining calm, we can avoid unnecessary panic.
We encourage you to stay informed, stay calm, and be kind to one another as we continue to learn more.
Thank you for doing your part!
