Winter weather is here in many parts of the state. Big game animals are moving to lower elevations, which means they may soon show up in our towns and backyards. These backyard visitors may appear thin or hungry. *Many well-meaning people feed wildlife thinking it will help them survive through winter, but feeding deer often causes more harm than good and does not increase their chances of survival.
