John, despite the massive popularity of the Affordable Care Act Donald Trump says he wants to slash the legislation that provides health insurance to 40 million Americans. Saying his failure to defeat the ACA in his first term was a “low point for the Republican Party, but we should never give up!”

There is no rhyme or reason for why the former president now wants to make repealing Obamacare one of his 2024 campaign priorities. There have been more than 50 failed votes to defeat the ACA and poll after poll suggests Americans overwhelmingly support it. Still, some Republicans are putting their integrity aside to follow Trump’s lead.
John, this means that if Republicans maintain control of the House, they may take on repealing the Affordable Care Act again. And my opponent refuses to say where he stands on this issue. Does George Logan agree with Donald Trump that this critical insurance should be taken away from Connecticut families?
