John,
I’ve always believed that the point of getting elected isn’t to bank political capital. It’s to burn political capital to improve lives.
When Minnesotans elected a one-seat Democratic governing majority last November by a margin of 321 votes, we came together and agreed on two things:
First, our mission was to make Minnesota the best place in the country to live, work, and raise a family. And second, that we would use every ounce of our power to make that vision a reality.
From codifying abortion rights into state law to banning the harmful practice of conversion “therapy” to putting Minnesota on the path to 100% clean energy to enacting common sense gun reforms, we didn’t take a moment for granted.
I’m damn proud of what we’re doing in our state, but everything we’ve worked to accomplish together could come undone if we fail to defend our DFL trifecta next year.
In odd years and even years alike, we need your support to hold the line against MAGA Republicans who want to drag us backward. The work can’t stop.
That’s why I’m following up tonight. Our next monthly fundraising deadline is at midnight, and according to the latest update from my fundraising team, we’re still trailing our goal by about $3,000.
Will you chip in $10, $25, $50, or whatever makes sense for you to help us make up the difference by 11:59 pm so we can keep moving Minnesota forward together?
I’m grateful,
Tim Walz
