John, wanted to update you quickly about what we’re facing. 

As the clear frontrunner in this race, the attacks are coming at me from all sides. And since we got Beto’s endorsement, even more folks are looking to our campaign to see if we have what it takes to win. There’s a lot at stake. 

Since November is typically a slow fundraising month, we’re currently running the risk of falling majorly behind. We can turn this around, but only if grassroots donors like you step up before tonight’s midnight deadline. Can I count on you to make a donation of $25, or any amount you can, right now?

I’m ready to bring my expertise and experience to D.C. to get to work for my community on day one - but first I need to win the primary election against an opponent who’s being supported by a LOT of out of state money.
