Friends -
We'll tell you something that most campaigns won't: tonight at midnight isn't an official fundraising deadline. The FEC is NOT requiring us to turn in our numbers. BUT: we have set some ambitious November fundraising goals for Elissa's campaign, and it is very important that we stay on track to meet them.
Here's why:
CNN has rated Michigan's Senate seat as one of the top 10 most likely to flip in 2024.
And Republican mega-donors are already throwing the kitchen sink at our potential Republican opponents. In the first month of his campaign, one of our GOP opponents, Mike Rogers, received $46,200 from the DeVos family.
All of their contributions were made in a single day, right before the election. The DeVoses have a history of spending millions to elect candidates who will advocate for the anti-education agenda in Washington – so we know that more is on the way.
Our campaign is doing things differently. Before our October fundraising drive comes to an end, Elissa is counting on lots of people giving small donations in order to meet our goals. These goals are not arbitrary – they are what we need to raise in order to win this race and protect the Democratic Senate majority.

Thank you for all you've done — and will continue to do — for Elissa's campaign.
