Hi John,

As Election Day gets closer, I want to focus on why we’re in this fight and how our plans are going to affect Central Floridians.

Currently, District 9 is on the frontlines of the climate crisis. We’re facing rapid sea-level rise, devastating hurricanes, and our beautiful coral reefs — that contain part of the most diverse ecosystems on earth —  are being threatened by overfishing, pollution, and development.

Our plan to reach a 100 percent clean economy by 2050 would not only help our environment, but also improve public health, especially for vulnerable populations, and create higher paying job opportunities for all Americans.

Our fossil fuel workers will never get left behind because we are committed to a just transition into jobs of the 21st century that will benefit us all.

Prosperity begins by making sure that hardworking families are able to get ahead and pursue the American dream. Together, we can make that happen.
