Welcome guests with style

Z-Lite

Give your home an inviting glow

The right lighting makes your home inviting. To welcome holiday guests, make sure your exterior lights have the requisite light level and color temperature. Place sconces on each side of the main entry to provide illumination with a soothing glow. Direct flood lights so that they do not shine directly into visitors' faces. Add lighting in trees to softly bathe the area in a moon glow. Use outdoor-rated fixtures with LEDs for extended lamp life and energy savings.

Inside, create an inviting and comfortable space for relaxing or entertaining. Try these easy tips:

  • Add color-changing lights above a nook or bar area for drama. LEDs can add custom color to complement specific moods.
  • Accent focal points to provide a splash of light for interest.
  • Illuminate corners with spotlights or pendants to enhance the space and to create a cozy nook.
  • Use dimmers to allow the general lighting to play a supporting role, particularly in conversation areas.
  • Place portable lamps for additional illumination as well as to highlight décor or provide a pop of color.
