I'm no stranger to the dangers of gerrymandering, John.



As the Republican governor of deep-blue Maryland, I fought tooth and nail to
end my state’s unfortunate distinction as the most gerrymandered in the country.



Our democracy is facing unprecedented threats, and it's more important than
ever for our leaders to show that they will put respect for the democratic
process and the Constitution before their short-term partisan interests.



Sadly, the latest redistricting power grab from New York Democrats will only
enable the most dangerous and anti-democratic elements of our politics.
