John,
It is ugly. It is painful. And it is ruining families and our communities.
I am talking about crime.
I just retired after 24 years as a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy. I have witnessed firsthand the effects of the pro-criminal policies of liberal politicians on our streets and neighborhoods.
Crime has gotten out of hand thanks to politicians like District Attorney George Gascón and Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo.
But we can do something about it. We can fight back.
As your Assemblyman, the first bill I will introduce is to strengthen penalties weakened by Prop. 47.
I can tell you that officers on the beat despise Proposition 47. This ill-conceived law:
Released thousands of criminals before they had served their entire sentence.
Eliminated automatic felony prosecution for stealing a gun.
Downgraded many drug and property theft offenses from felonies to misdemeanors.
It is time to take back our cities. It is time to clean up our streets. It is time to make our communities safe. It is time to change Prop. 47.
One person stands in our way … Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo.
Will you help me defeat her?
Your contribution of $75, $15, or $40 will help me do just that. Please help us meet our end-of-the-month fundraising goal.
