Appearing on Jesse Watters’ Fox show, Bubba Armenta spoke out after
his 9-year-old son was targeted by a Deadspin “reporter” named
Carron Phillips. Phillips, who mainly writes race-baiting articles,
accused the 9-year-old of wearing blackface to a Chiefs game. While
only showing one side of the child’s face (which had black paint on
it), Philips wrote an entire article titled “The NFL needs to speak
out against the Kansas City Chiefs fan in Black face, Native
headdress,” in which he attempted to portray a 9-year-old as the
embodiment of white supremacy.
