REMINDER: Join us for Caucus and Convention Training!
[[link removed]] At Women Winning, the work of electing pro-choice women never stops, and we’re already looking ahead to 2024!
We’re excited to announce the first event in our 2023-2024 Training Series highlighting Minnesota’s Caucus and Convention processes and what it will take for pro-choice women to win their races in 2024. We’ll cover the caucus and convention logistics, candidate tips and imperatives, and learn more about what success looks like in the time leading up to these important steps on the journey to getting elected to office.

Our Executive Director, Nevada Littlewolf shared stories, knowledge and best practices to a group of 120 campaign staff and candidates at the RUN51 Summit in Detroit.
She was joined by Rosemary Ketchem, West Virginia City Councilor and Natalie Murdock, North Carolina Senator.
St. Louis Park Mayor-Elect Nadia Mohamed Featured in the New York Times!
[[link removed]] Nadia Mohamed, the new Mayor-Elect of St. Louis Park says her win is just the first chapter. Mohamed will become the country’s first elected Somali-American mayor on January 2, after she completes her term as a City Council member — a seat she won at 23, becoming the youngest person, the first Muslim and the first Somali-American to serve in that body.

Aurin Chowdhury took the oath of office at Minneapolis City Hall to fill out the remainder of the term of outgoing council member for Ward 12 Andrew Johnson, after he stepped down early from the seat Chowdhury was elected to in November. [[link removed]]
