As we head towards the holidays, we often see a dip in fundraising numbers. And with the absolute dysfunction in the House under GOP leadership the stakes could not be higher.
Before Republicans gained control in 2022, we passed some of the most important legislation in recent history. With Democrats at the helm, and while I was Chairman of the Education and Labor Committee, we passed the American Rescue Plan Act, which included the largest one time federal investment in K-12 education in U.S. history. With Republicans at the helm, we are struggling to just keep the Government from shutting down.
