Thank you for being a Labour Party donor. We're incrediby grateful for your
support.
We’re reaching out today to ask you to contribute to Labour. But before we ask,
you deserve an explanation of why your support — especially right now — is so
important.
The reality is we’re in for a tough election. This failed Tory government gets
to call an election whenever they want. Don’t doubt for a second that they
intend to tip the scales in their favour, any way they can.
They’re going to call the election when they think they’ve got the best odds to
cling onto power. Right now, all signals are pointing to polling day in May. The
Tories are about to pull a series of stunts to try to make people forget about
their failures and save their plummeting poll numbers.
And behind the scenes, they’re building their general election fund.
Their only hope is to catch us underfunded without the resources to compete.
So it’s our job to make sure we’re prepared for the moment the election is
called. We suspect that it’s coming sooner rather than later, and we cannot be
complacent now and falter out of the gate.
Now that we’ve explained, here’s where we ask everyone who knows we cannot
afford five more years of the Tories to pitch in:
Please make a contribution to Labour right now to prepare for the next general
election. We must beat the Tories, for the sake of Britain’s future. We would
not ask if your support wasn’t critical.
