[link removed] CHIP IN → [link removed] Last spring, after pushing the U.S. to the brink of a default, Kevin McCarthy made a deal with the White House to not make any destructive cuts to our budget.Fast forward to this fall, when McCarthy broke his word and tried to make destructive cuts to our budget.After pushing the U.S. government to the brink of shutting down, McCarthy caved and passed a clean bill to keep our government open, which only passed because of Democratic votes.MAGA Republicans were so mad about keeping the government open, they revolted and removed McCarthy as Speaker.MAGA Republicans had zero plan for what came next, and they spent three weeks fighting and backstabbing while keeping the House closed at a moment when the world needed U.S. leadership.MAGA Republicans rallied behind some of the most extreme and inexperienced members of their party.MAGA Republicans pushed our government to the brink of shutting down again (sensing a theme here?), then finally passed a clean bill to keep our government open, which only passed because of Democratic votes.

That's what the MAGA Republican Party's done in the House in just the last few
months. Can you imagine if they took control of the Senate too?

Right now they only need to flip two seats to win the Senate Majority. And if
they win, they'll try to pass a national abortion ban, slash Social Security and
Medicare, and more.
