Republicans are turning the House into a place of anger, selfishness, public feuding, and the destruction of democratic norms. Republican congressional leaders are constantly caving to their most vocal and extremist members. Their final choice for Speaker is the most extreme in decades.

However, Democrats can’t afford to rest up, John. From the top down, national Republicans are working to undo all the progress we’ve made over the past three years under President Biden’s leadership.

The GOP wants to keep its death grip on the House, replace Chuck Schumer as the Senate Majority Leader with Mitch McConnell, and hand Donald Trump the keys to the White House.
