I probably don’t need to tell you that we are entering a really important election year for Colorado and our country. I won’t lie, I’m a little nervous about it.
Why? Because some of the country’s most important races, which could easily decide who sits in the White House and which party controls Congress, will take place right here in Colorado.
The races for Colorado's 3rd and 8th Congressional Districts are rated among the most competitive for the 2024 Election. While Colorado has leaned blue these past few elections, the last thing we need to see is a 2014 surprise, like when Cory Gardner shocked everyone and won one of our Senate seats. We cannot watch our state go red because we took voters for granted. We need to mobilize early and often to ensure Colorado keeps Donald Trump out of the Oval Office.
That’s why we’ve launched initiatives like The 546 Project and The Horizon Project to build our ground game so we can deliver wins for Democrats up and down the ballot next year.
But we can’t do any of this if we miss any of our 2023 fundraising goals. The money we raise now goes directly towards building the program we need to win in 2024.
