Hi John,
The first day to submit petitions was this week, and I was so grateful to be able to submit 4,000 signatures to get my name back on the ballot in 2024.
If you missed that email, I've attached it here at the bottom. Today, though, I wanted to talk a little more about why it meant so much to me.
See, I am the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants, who came to the US for a better life for me and my siblings. And from the time I was a little girl, my parents instilled in me a passion for helping the people in my community.
John, if you asked me ten years ago, I never could have imagined running for Congress – let alone getting the chance to do it twice!
But now, I can't imagine doing anything else. It's an honor to represent my community in Congress.
And because of my community, I'm one step closer to being able to continue.
Moving forward, the real campaign begins. Today is my End of Month Fundraising Deadline – will you join my team by chipping in any amount toward my $4,478 goal before midnight? [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Subject: A clear sign of our campaign's strength
To: < [email protected] >
Hi John,
As you know, my team and I have been working around the clock to get my name on the ballot for my next race.
And I'm proud to say that our work has paid off – by the first day to submit, we had more than enough signatures to qualify!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Being able to turn in four thousand signatures on the first day to submit is a clear and reassuring sign of my campaign's strength.
I am so grateful to have such a passionate and supportive group of people standing alongside me as I fight for comprehensive immigration reform, veteran's rights and affordable housing for all.
But the work is just getting started, John. To help get my campaign off the ground, I'm reaching out to ask for your support. Will you join our team with a donation of any amount today? [[link removed]]
