From drag bans to book bans to bathroom bans, this year has been nothing short of exhausting. But despite ongoing attempts from our opposition to spread misinformation and dehumanize LGBTQ people, we have not stayed silent — in fact, we've been louder than ever, thanks to people like you.
And boy, did our community get loud for GivingTuesday! We raised $32,352 from 349 of you coming together. Right now is a critical time in our work to shift our culture toward equality, and we're only able to do it because of support from people like you.

Helped roll back an FDA ban on blood donations from gay men by tracking, calling out, and reversing the stigma around HIV.

Supported the production of a PSA on transgender equality about the Briggle family in Texas, which attracted 250 million media impressions and moved conservative focus groups to support transgender youth.

|
|
Equipped 90,000 people with the media savvy to confront transphobia and homophobia through the GLAAD Media Institute.

From training local reporters to coaching major film studios to supporting LGBTQ youth who want to share their stories... our community's generosity is helping us rewrite the script for LGBTQ acceptance, in the U.S. and around the world.
