Good Morning John,

Over the past few days, WAVE supporters raised thousands of dollars for gun violence prevention. Even better, every donation was matched, making it go twice as far. That’s worth celebrating!

So now I wanted to say thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who helped create a WAVE of Giving.

Your gifts will be central to supporting our best, most effective gun violence prevention programs:

• Advocating for evidence-based, lifesaving, commonsense gun violence prevention policies, such as an extreme risk law and background checks
• Helping citizens make their voices heard by providing education, inspiration, and all the tools needed to take impactful civic action
• Working to eliminate the root causes of gun violence, including social inequalities
• Engaging youth--the next leaders in the gun violence prevention movement--as they become advocates and peacemakers through our summer internship and other ongoing initiatives
