Does it surprise you the government lies to you

And when they get caught with their hand in the
cookie jar, they make a weak apology, promise it will never happen again . . . and go out and do it all over again and again.
The latest headline from just a few days ago:
I don’t know about you, but I’ve had enough of the Spy State being given a pass for lying to Congress, lying to the American people, breaking the law, and outright thumbing their nose at the Constitution.
Right now, Congress has just one month to reauthorize the crown jewel of the Spy State – Section 702 of the Foreign
Intelligence Surveillance Act.
Section 702 of FISA allows the
government to conduct targeted surveillance of foreign nationals living outside the U.S. without needing to obtain a warrant.
The problem is the Spy State has abused this to pull millions upon millions of
records on countless Americans, and even members of Congress!
FBI Director Christopher Wray has offered up weak apologies and promised more training . . . but it’s the same old song and
dance.
The good news is, many Americans have started to wise up to this
nonsense -- especially after watching the Deep State go on the warpath against the Trump administration and supporters who merely liked or followed
President Trump on social media.
I’m convinced we can
bring the statists’ domestic spying programs to a crashing halt by wiping out one of the worst parts, Section 702!
This may be our best chance ever to strike a deathblow to Big
Brother.

The fact is, the Deep State is hell-bent on collecting every American’s emails, your phone records, text messages,
Internet searches, instant messages, online purchases, and Facebook posts.

WIRED
magazine recently had a story headlined, “The FBI’s Most Controversial Surveillance Tool Is Under Threat.”
The story revealed the U.S. “intelligence” community, and especially the
FBI, illegally rummaged through millions upon millions of phone call and message records on innocent Americans without a warrant.
You and I have known this for years despite the lies of James Clapper, Christopher
Wray, and dozens and dozens of other “intelligence” figures.
Now, you and I can deal a major blow to the Spy State by shutting down Section 702 once and for all.

I realize the government will continue to lie and there is more work to do to stop their spying on you and me even if
Section 702 expires, but it gets us closer to following the Constitution, and it gets us closer to convicting those who have been breaking the
