I'm going to jump right into it: On the first of every month, my team and I assess our budget.

We take this review seriously. It's our chance to compare our fundraising against our targets, consider what staffing we need in the district, how much money we need to ensure my message reaches across the district, and when we can poll. Right now, I’m looking to hire an Organizing Director so we can start reaching out to voters directly and be ready to collect petitions to get on the ballot in the new year.

The reality is it's going to cost a lot of money to run a winning campaign in NY-01, and we know anti-environment, anti-choice, and other MAGA extremist groups will spend millions to hold onto control of this congressional seat.

That's why I need to ask for your help now. We need to know we will have the money to cover our costs. Before we go into tomorrow's meeting, I'm hoping you will pitch in what you can, to help build our budget so we can flip NY-01 and take back Democratic control of the House.
