With every fundraising deadline comes a public report that gives the press, our supporters, and our opponents a look into the strength of our campaign. On November 9, 2022, House Democrats came together to start our plan to take back the House in 2024.
While the 2022 election results were in no way the red wave that political pundits predicted, we did lose our majority in the House, and the nation has been paying the price ever since.
With Democrats in the House Majority for the 117th Congress, we were able to pass legislation that is taking steps to address climate change, lowering the costs of needed medications for seniors on Medicare, and strengthening background checks and red flag laws to protect Americans from gun violence.
Let’s make sure Democrats across the country, and especially those in our home state of New York, have the resources they need to win and show the nation how we put people over politics.
