John, it’s probably not every month you get an end-of-month email from a candidate saying things are going great. Usually, days like today are a chance to doom-and-gloom in order to squeeze a few more pennies out of you—but today, I’m emailing to let you know that we’re coming in hot for the end of the month.

In fact, I just checked our accounts and fundraising for November is currently at 134% of where we were at this point in October! That’s a great place for us to be— but I’m still going to ask you to pitch in before midnight. Let me explain why.

For every goal we hit, we can always set another goal beyond that, because we can always use those funds to reach more voters than we’d planned to. When we beat our benchmarks, it means that when campaign season gets into full swing, we’ll be able to print more literature, put out more yard signs, be on TV more often and for longer, and get more people knocking more doors.

In a race like this one, where we know the GOP is going to throw everything they have at us to try and hold this seat, I have no intention of ever settling and saying “good enough”. “Good enough” is how Democrats in this state have lost, time and time again, and 2024 is just too important for me to let off throttle for even an instant.

That’s why I’m setting an ambitious goal to raise another $5,435.82 for our November deadline. That might seem like a lot, but I’m confident we can make it happen. With filing opening up next week, it’s critical that we’re able to show everyone in North Carolina that our campaign means business. So, John , can I count on you to chip in anything you can before midnight tonight? Every bit helps us do more and get that much closer to where we need to be to win.
