Experimental “advisory” bike lanes come to Capitol Hill

DC will pilot new “advisory” bike lanes” on E Street SE in Capitol Hill. At first it sounds like this might be an April Fool’s joke. But these are a real kind of bike infrastructure that’s new to DC and will be tried here as an experiment.

Reston Gateway’s parking reduction decision on hold

Northern Virginia gets approval on autonomous shuttle

Greater Washington Partnership join nationwide group focused on transportation

The Greater Washington Partnership will join similar entities around the country to push Congress on federal transportation policies, priorities, and projects. The Metropolitan Civic Leadership Alliance represents 10 regions nationwide. In a letter to Congress, the coalition asked for more funds to be delivered “directly” to metropolitan areas, and increased monies for transit, rail, and Amtrak.   (Michael Laris / Post)
