LCV and our 30+ state affiliates – collectively, the Conservation Voter Movement – are a powerful, diverse, effective network with a grassroots and lobbying presence across the country. We have built deep partnerships with communities directly impacted by environmental injustice and helped advance a clean energy future nationwide.

Thanks to our work to push governors, state legislatures, and local leaders to pass strong policies, 40% of people in the U.S. now live in a place committed to 100% clean energy.

With the 2022 midterm elections fast-approaching, along with the growing threats of climate change and voter suppression, we need to continue to influence positive changes at all levels of government – including state and local races. Environmental issues affect us all, so it is crucial to make our voices heard by policymakers across different states and geographies.
