Our campaign is asked a lot if we’re affiliated with Tom Horne, Arizona’s Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Tom Horne is best known for being the “pioneer” in the right-wing crusade against school teachings on people of color and social inequality.

He’s a close ally to “Moms for Liberty'', a group that champions the banning of books like The Diary of Anne Frank, victimizing LGBTQ+ kids, and whitewashing U.S. history.

His voucher system and support of charter schools has led to Arizona being near the top of the list of states with the worst school systems in the country.

That is not us.

Andrew Horne is a product of Arizona public schools and will always fight for our kids to have a high quality, well-rounded education. That’s a big part of why he’s running for Congress.

Arizona leads the nation in teacher turnover rates, which is why it’s imperative that we take action to support the teachers who are giving our children the tools they need. We also need more trade school opportunities and less expensive college tuition.

What we don’t need is politicians putting their own partisan agenda above our kids.
