John —
In a moment, I’m going to ask you to split a donation of $20 to Seth Moulton and my campaign ahead of the end-of-month deadline. But first, I hope you’ll give me a moment to update you on all that is going on.
Not that long ago, Republicans took the step of censuring me in the House.
Censuring a representative is an extraordinary step — one that’s only been reserved for a few dozen times in our nation’s two-century history.
Their reason? Political retribution for exposing Donald Trump’s Russia and Ukraine misconduct and for holding him accountable during his first impeachment trial.
Kevin McCarthy backed the censure resolution to appease Trump and his MAGA members in Congress. In fact, Trump threatened to primary any Republican who voted against the resolution. Many Republican members who opposed it, then folded like a tent, and when the time came, the measure passed by a party-line vote.
Unfortunately, it’s clear the GOP still sees me as their biggest threat — because the attacks haven’t stopped.
Just last week, Trump just attacked me in Iowa, now Sean Hannity and Kid Rock are piling on.
As you can see, these MAGA attacks are getting more and more desperate by the day, John. They know how effective I am, so they are prepared to throw every dirty trick in the book to sabotage my campaign for truth and justice — especially as the election gets closer.
But like I said on the House floor when they censured me: I am honored to have earned their enmity. I am flattered by their falsehoods. And I will not yield. Not one inch.
I don’t take a dime from corporate PACs, so it will take a movement of grassroots supporters to overcome Donald Trump and his allies’ attacks. Will you add in a split donation between Seth Moulton and my campaign of $20 or more before our end-of-month deadline tomorrow? [[link removed]]
