As the House prepares to vote, once again, on whether Rep. George Santos should be allowed to remain in Congress after his outrageous lies and corruption, Republican leadership remains predictably silent. We won't let them get away with that — will you?

Let us know where you stand, John: Do you approve of the House Republican leadership? Take our short survey now >>

John,

House Republicans wanted us to believe that finally electing a speaker would put an end to the Party's chaos. Now, as they prepare for a third vote to expel Rep. George Santos over his latest wave of ethics scandals, Speaker Mike Johnson is conspicuously silent.

Despite spending less than a year in public office, Rep. George Santos' tenure has been defined by his lies and corruption. Santos now faces 23 criminal charges linked to misuse of campaign donations, wire fraud, and lying to Congress — among other glaring ethics violations.

Still, House Republican leadership remains silent on whether they will vote to expel Santos.

The reality is that we know exactly what this silence means, John. The modern Republican Party is not only power hungry — it's morally bankrupt. The GOP will prioritize holding their narrow majority over holding one of their own accountable — and Americans will pay the price.

We're asking pro-choice activists across the country to weigh-in. Let us know where you stand on House Republicans' leadership by taking our short survey >>

Thank you,

the EMILYs List team
