Energy Policy Stakeholder Briefing

Join us Dec. 20 for a preview of energy policy and budget priorities for the 2024 session

The Department of Commerce Energy Division will host a briefing for stakeholders to learn about legislative and budget priorities for the 2024 legislative session.

Panelists will provide information on agency request legislation and budget requests with an opportunity for attendees to comment and ask questions.?

Focus areas for the briefing?may include:

  • Clean buildings
  • Clean transportation
  • Funding and support for community clean energy and decarbonization projects
  • Green hydrogen
  • Embodied carbon
  • Federal grant assistance

Agencies will know which budget and bill requests are approved to move forward when Gov. Inslee releases his budget in early December. Following the budget release, we will finalize and share our list of agency priorities prior to this briefing with those who are registered to attend - so be sure to sign up!
