John —
Two potential candidates for U.S. Senate have now come forward to claim that they were each offered $20 million by a major AIPAC donor in recent days if they would run against Rep. Rashida Tlaib — the only Palestinian-American in Congress — in a Democratic primary.1
And we already know that AIPAC — funded by right-wing megadonors — is preparing to spend as much as $100 million to unseat progressive champions in Congress including Reps. Summer Lee, Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, and Jamaal Bowman.2
AIPAC and the billionaire right-wing donors who fund them are threatening to spend millions to unseat WFP champions in 2024 because they know they are unbought and unafraid. We need to do all we can to fight back — and that starts now.
We’ve taken on right-wing megadonors before and won — but with this unprecedented level of outside spending we’ll need to redouble our efforts in order to have the resources we need to fight back. Will you rush a contribution of $10 or whatever you can afford to make sure we can do all we can to defend our WFP champions in Congress in 2024 against AIPAC-funded primary challengers?

Taking money from Republican billionaire donors like Home Depot’s co-founder Bernie Marcus and then using it to challenge progressive champions in Democratic primary races is revolting, but it certainly isn’t new for AIPAC.3
In 2022, they spent nearly $30 million in an attempt to defeat progressives in Congress — while also propping up over 100 January 6 insurrectionist Republicans.
In 2024, they plan to spend as much as three times that amount to decimate the ranks of progressives in Congress.4
We simply can’t stand by and let our democracy be bought — and the voices of our champions silenced.
Help us send a message to AIPAC that our democracy is not for sale. Rush a contribution of $10 or whatever you can afford to WFP so we have the resources we need to defend all of our champions in 2024.
In solidarity,
Working Families Party
