Michigan’s 11th district wasn’t always represented by a Democrat. As a matter of fact, I became the first Democrat to serve here in decades. I also became the first Democrat to win three consecutive terms in MI-11 ever.

Flipping Oakland County in 2018 was no easy feat, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of this grassroots team.

As proud as I am to have helped chart the path to turning Michigan blue, our work is far from over.

Right-wing Republicans are after our state. They’re already spending big money to attack our most vulnerable districts.

I don’t need to remind you that if they succeed, all of the work myself and other Democrats have done for Michigan will go down the drain.
