Democrats' and Republicans’ approaches to governing couldn’t be any more different -- that’s why we need to flip the House next year.
John -- President Biden and Democrats are lowering costs across the board, from internet and energy bills to prescription drugs. We are also creating good-paying jobs. Under the Biden Administration, we’ve seen 32 consecutive months of job growth. And this Administration has delivered billions in student debt relief to 3.6 million Americans, while Democrats in Congress have worked to address gun violence and protect voting rights and access to reproductive care.
House Republicans have made it a habit to hold the government hostage -- threatening to default on our debt and shut down the government -- to get their way on extreme policies. They have endangered our economy, jobs, families’ financial security, and the civil rights and freedoms of people of color, women, and LGBTQ+ Americans.
House Republicans have shown a complete inability to govern, but here’s the good news -- we only need to flip five seats to put Democrats back in charge in the House and get back to putting people over politics.
