We’re now less than a year out from Election Day, and this our first deadline of the official “election season.”

Hitting our November fundraising goal is imperative if we’re going to defend this ultra-competitive battleground district.

We don’t choose our goals just willy-nilly. The amount we set out to raise each month is enough to 1) fund our essential campaign operations, like paying staff and running ads; and 2) respond to any attacks the GOP throws at us – in other words, keep this campaign functional and flexible.

There’s no doubt in my mind that the NRCC is waiting for us to fall short tomorrow. This goal is an opportunity to show that they’re underestimating the strength of this grassroots movement.

We’ve kept this battleground district blue before. We can do it again so long as we continue to reach crucial goals like this one.
