Act now to protect vulnerable Jewish communities in Europe
[[link removed]]WJC Supporter,

“Is It Time for the Jews to Leave Europe?”

This troubling headline from The Atlantic in 2015 left many around the world asking if such a statement could possibly be
true … and in recent years, the situation has only gotten worse.

But you can take action right now to protect vulnerable Jewish communities in
Europe.

Cemeteries desecrated…Monuments vandalized … Jews threatened and beaten in the
street and attacked in their synagogue.

We say: ENOUGH.

[[link removed]]The safety and security of European Jewry is on the brink. That’s why we’re
calling on all EU member states to immediately adopt the International Holocaust
Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA’s) definition of antisemitism.

So far, 18 of the 27 European states within the EU have formally adopted the
IHRA definition including: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech
Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg,
Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden, as well as the United
Kingdom. What about those that have not? What are they waiting for? They have no excuse!

Adopting this definition is an important and necessary first step to encoding
and enforcing clear legislation against such hate. You can help to protect and defend European Jews by signing our petition to
European Council President Charles Michel asking him to do everything in his
power to encourage all EU member states to immediately adopt the IHRA and EU’s
recommended definition of antisemitism.

It doesn’t matter if Jews are threatened close to home or half a world away, one
Jew in peril or an entire community, we must always stand prepared to expose the
threats and take action. Because if we won’t, who will?

So please, help us write a safer future for European Jewry by signing your petition today.

Thank you.

P.S. For too long, Europe’s leaders have not paid serious attention to the
rebirth of antisemitic hate, and now it has reached a fever pitch. Sign our petition today to urge all EU member states to take a critically
important step and adopt a common definition of antisemitism.
