John – right now, Emerge women are showing what real leadership looks like, and communities everywhere are rallying with them to change the direction of our country. That’s why I look forward to election season every year and why I’m asking for your help today. 

We are still $4,015 short of our Giving Tuesday goal to empower more Democratic women to run for office and continue the fight for our rights – and the future of our democracy – in 2024. The good news is that we have a second chance to close that fundraising gap before our extended match deadline at midnight tonight. But we need your help to make up this shortfall while we still can.

From our school boards to the U.S. Congress, Republican officials are failing to listen to our communities’ most basic needs. Instead of addressing health care, education, and equal opportunity, they’re creating crises and pushing everyday people deeper into desperation. We can and we MUST replace them with leaders who want to do the work for our communities – and those leaders are Emerge women. 

That means our team must ramp up our recruitment and training programs to ensure that every woman who steps up to run has the support she needs to win. But we have to close our fundraising gap to continue this crucial work.
